Liam has 100% baited ships the entire campaign he went on talks and said he’s in love with Jester and credited her with being the the person who helped him grow the most out of the nein. Liam chose a possible love interest to be the person who helped him grow not one of his platonic friends. Over the last couple months he’s gone on talks multiple times talking about how Caleb’s attracted to Essek and how the only reason he really wanted Astrid and Wulf to come to Aeor is so Caleb would have all his crushes in one spot and listed like 5 people. You can’t make that a fundamental part of character who’s attracted to half the people you meet and be surprised when fans want some answers.
