[Spoilers C3E34] It IS Thursday! | Live Discussion Thread - C3E34

I've got a lot of issues with how this all played out, but I will boil down the one thing that bugs me the most:

Delilah saying, "Death is just a waiting game".

Immediately made Laudnas death feel less impactful. It was a huge wink and a nod to the audience like- don't worry kids, your favorite character will be back!

I want laudnas death to be impactful, not just an inconvenience for a side quest to solve.

The players obviously did everything the best way possible and saved the most people- can't fault them for playing the game well. I just wish Matt had really left the fate of Laudna in the dark. I'm already just expecting her to be back soon enough.

My opinion is probably a little controversial and obviously one should expect characters to be a little more hard to kill in DND than in real life. It's just hard to feel like that whole fight was inconsequential from a loss of life perspective when it was painted as the possible doom of the Bells Hells.
