I've had men blatantly say that they don't consider me a woman because of my size. And when I'm harassed on the street for being overweight, it's always ALWAYS men. Not even to mention the constant Family Guy, etc. quotes that constantly make fun of overweight women. These are men that I had no intention of dating or even talking to but they feel the need to put me down just because. It's not just about preferences for these assholes, they literally don't think of you as a person. So yeah, I understand some women can be mean about it, but I think you'd be cherry picking if you think that most of body bashing doesn't come from men. Idk if its testosterone or whatever, but for some reason, many males are compelled to comment on others' appearances, whether it's catcalling or bullying, etc.
