When someone asks you the date verbally do you say "the 29th of October" or "October 29th"?

This was my original question. You did not, and have not answered it. You some blah blah context and that we'd just say "the 29th". Well no shit if it's the same month you wouldn't specify the month. You have TWO CHOICES and you didn't answer either. You still haven't. And as I said again, 10/24 is not confusing for someone who allegedly converses with Americans and lot and even spend time in America. If I see someone say it's 30 degrees out it takes no effort at all to figure out if they mean C of F.

And look up what a strawman is. My question was absolutely not one. It required a 2-4 word answer and this all would have been done, instead you danced around it because you knew you didn't like the answer.
