Stories requested- 39 week induction, scared FTM here

I was induced at 40 weeks. I'd had 3 stretch and sweeps to trigger labour before then but no luck. Not gonna lie I reacted strongly to the induction and they removed it after 9 hours and confirmed I was in labour. Was put on a drip next day. Was always gonna get an epidural but I only remember a few seconds of me begging for it. It was so welcome. And the fact I could top it up myself was nice. It didn't work down my left side so birth was a struggle and we ended up with a forceps delivery so basically I felt nothing. That felt odd that suddenly I was given a baby and it took a little while to bond, but 2 years on and there's no doubt he's mine and I love him to bits! I won't lie it was a tough few days and it took another day to get the feeling back in my legs but once it's over it's a distant memory.
