So I was team green and I didn’t have a gender reveal. But I also didn’t have a baby shower. And I didn’t announce on social media until after the baby was born. my husband was on my side on all of these even though he announced on social media as soon as she was born.

But that’s my comfort zone and that made me happy so you do you.

I get that all these people here are telling you that gender reveals are not good or silly but if you wanna have one I would say go ahead and have one without anyone support.

For me I connected with my distant relatives by basically asking them how the women handled their pregnancies and how what would help me and hubby prepare for the baby in the future.

PS I totally get the pronoun thing. Since I was team green I called her “it” for the entire pregnancy and so after she came out I had a little mixups and still called her “it” SMH
