Straight Forward Question

Earlier today I made a whole long effortful post explaining this, with the intention of helping people out. I posted and then edited a typo and the reddit app deleted almost the whole thing lol. Not gonna re-type; wasn't meant to be.

Real quick: the traditions and sages describe sahaja samadhi as the natural state, the liberated state. Not as some special state. Just the natural state. No ego arising, no thought arising. Total inner silence even during activity. It is fixed Self-attention. No attention going outward to objects. Even during daily life.

I'm just becoming aware that this whole sub is filled with people who think "just this" with the ego and all its tricks still operating is the natural state. Not silence.

This is a totally new phenomenon since the western nonduality scene came online; basically stemming from Papaji originally. It's not the natural state described in scripture, the traditions, and by the sages. It's just papaji, his lineage, and then the YouTube speakers who view it that way. Literally no one else.

I'm very personally familiar with being "already there" but have recently just sorta woken up out of that. I now perceive it to be an egoic delusion. Liberation is the natural state. Not the ego.

I was confused the whole time I thought "this is it." Which obviously is true in the absolute sense and feels great but that's not the liberation that's available and I see that now. Saying it is is an ego-protection-strategy. I really feel like I was and basically most people here are totally deluded into thinking the ego is natural. It's not.

This sub is filled with people who don't see it that way, I also feel like folks are not open to seeing it any other way. It seems like this already-there group has taken on the characteristics of a religious fundamentalist group. They're just not open to anything. They're totally sure "they're there" even with the ego running the show.

It seems like I've gotten what I could from it and similarly offered what I can. No one here is open to hearing about this. It's been fun but I'm moving on along. I just ran a program that deleted all my content.

If you're interested this website is a great resource. https://selfdefinition.org/awareness/contents.htm

It's been fun. Will delete entirely shortly.

Peace.
