This is such a ripe question
Self-inquiry came from Ramana Maharshi as a secondary method to self realization. His first and primary mode of teaching is silence
Notice now that you're breathing without having to try. The feeling of the natural rhythm of the breath is always available. Do you notice it?
In noticing the breath, did you lose any of your awareness? In other words, the same awareness which makes itself available to read these words is available to the breath
Do you notice this?
This awareness which is simply available: does it remain without the label awareness? Can we call it silence?
This silent availability is always available exactly like this. It notices these words without effort. It can notice the breath without effort. It can notice anything in the environment, naturally
THIS is what self enquiry points to
Mooji's invitation to freedom is also a great exercise. Mooji's content is also a great resource for peeling away layers of confusion and doubt
