Streamer favoritism

It's not strictly partnered streamers that see this favoritism though. They had major issues following the launch of their music program last year. By their rules the music channels must be creation and original music which legally is all they can on any if their streams without permission. They got suspension happy right off the bat which they needed too until a few of these djs and their 100 view bots threw a fit, so the unofficial policy now is you can dj as long as you can see the djs controller but they do not require proof of a license to use the music. They've got a blanket license similar to most bars who have live bands to where they catch some of the copyrighted material. However, after I got slapped with a suspension for playing live original music without using my webcam (I prefer to just use music visualizations) I did some experimenting since I've got quite a few pieces of music with registered copyrights and their software that mutes vods is pretty decent, but quite a few common dj effects completely get ignored by it, plus any cover song played by any artist on their music stream will not get caught either unless they're really close to the original recording. The royalty contracts with any production company connected to the big 3 require compensation for any and all desimnations of any of their artists. That compensation differs depending on the source whether that be spotify, a dj catalog, etc. and if that contract doesn't allow for public commercial play then that's when those of us who have registered copyrights just chuckle and hang out. It's no secret twitch is knowingly allowing copyright violations.
