The Struggle Continues

It is obvious what Trump is doing. Let me put it like this. A powerful being comes to you and says that you have to become president of the United States of America or you and all your loved ones will die a painful death. It gives you virtually unlimited resources ($$$). How do you do it?

What I mean to say is that Trump has been wanting to be president for a very long time, and he has thought about it long and hard. So how do you accomplish it? You run as a Dem and out Left the establishment candidates? That doesn't work, the establishment is too powerful on the left. (Don't forget, Trump was once extremely far left, even calling for trillions in taxes for the rich). Ok, how about our Righting the Right? Populist, right wing post 9/11 demagogue. Ding ding ding. We have a winner! You can take all the Republican votes by stealing the base. This is the guaranteed path, you just need to commit.

Trump never believed in the birther movement, he isn't racist, he doesn't really care about a wall, so what is he? He's a character in a story that the masses are eating up. He's a strategist, and he found the winning move. He succeeded.

So who is the real Trump, what does he want, why does he want to be president so bad? It's simple, the country is not what he wants it to be. The country is fucked. We can all see that it is fucked. Constant war, corrupt politics, economic instability. He wants to fix all that. I'm not saying he can, I'm saying he thinks he can and he wants to try. How do you get your shot at trying? You have to win the presidency. There is really only one way to get it, demagogue the right. Did Bernie win by playing inside the rules, with integrity, going toe to toe with the system? Almost, but not quite. Trump is taking no risks, so you have to say racist stuff. You can't risk Rubio getting any footing, you need to steal all of those votes. You can't risk Cruz winning, you need to steal even the evangelical vote from the evangelical candidate. How do you do that? Be anti-Muslim. Now he needs to steal moderate and even Left wing votes, and now you will see him out-left Hillary in the general.

So then we have to ask, what is more dangerous? The man who is willing to say anything to win, who is obviously using the uneducated to win himself power, or the woman who we know, we know all about her, we know what she has done right and what she has done wrong. She has done so so so much that is wrong, unethical, corrupt, and dangerous. For her own gain, for her own glory. I think Hillary also wants to do good for everyone, in addition to seeking the glory, but she has shown in her actions that she has the wrong ideas. Regime change/war does not benefit the American citizenry. Crooked trade deals do not benefit us. Pro-corporate legislation does not benefit us. Her unethical actions that fill her pockets do not benefit us.

Neither of them are good or ideal or ethical. She is just more dangerous. If you take war alone, the trillion dollar issue that also has millions of lives attached to it, she is more dangerous. I cannot accept her. I'd rather have a known non-interventionist who said the Iraq war was the biggest mistake our country ever made (Trump) than the person who voted for Iraq then pushed for more regime change in more recent years (Clinton). The choice is simple, if we can't have Bernie, then I choose Trump over Clinton.
