Students of Reddit, what was the biggest teacher meltdown you ever witnessed?

I had a teacher for 8th grade English that was extremely attractive and fairly young (mid 20's), but somehow she had become the teacher every kid picked on. I don't know how that happened, but everyone would barb at her - even me. I was overall a good kid and one of the favorite students of most of my teachers, but even I would make jokes about her. She would try to seem cool to the class by telling us stories, but they never came out right and would lead to more harassment. (Like, I remember her telling us about how she left the house one morning and halfway to school, realized her shirt was inside out. Immediately, that became the joke and we quickly started poking at her because of this.) My entire middle school life seemed to be about ways to make fun of this teacher.

Then, one day she comes into class and everyone could tell she'd been crying. She proceeds to tell us that she caught her husband in bed with a man when she got home the previous day... I don't know if she just needed sympathy or wanted to get that off her chest.. But that was not the thing to tell a class/school full of 8th grade kids who already were making fun of you. From that day on, it turned into jokes about her gay husband and how weird she was. She would sometimes join in on the jokes when they were about her husband, but if they were about her, she would usually break down and sometimes cry. So, on some fronts she was almost a friend and ally in our shenanigans, but on others, she was a victim, or the teacher being abused by her class of 8th graders. That class seemed so much fun (to us at the time), but looking back it was so incredibly sad. And as the year progressed, she would break down and scream and cry more and more often, which only lead to more abuse. I moved on to high school and lost track of her, but my sister had her a couple of years later and it seemed the abuse had ramped up and she eventually was hospitalized for depression, no doubt caused by her school situation compounded by her home situation. My sister took things to another level and was actually suspended for dumping pencil shavings in her drink (something I would never have done and something I still don't understand why my sister did).

No shit - around the time I graduated high school, she was busted for having an affair with an 8th grade kid. Apparently there was one kid that was nice to her and stood up for her and she ended up hooking it up - then was promptly arrested and fired. Only then did I kick myself - that teacher was probably the first teacher I'd ever had who was hot - and instead of being nice and having that dream scenario like those we read about, I adopted the pack mentality and became the bully myself.

Anyway, no idea what ever happened to her, but I seriously wouldn't doubt if she commit suicide or something. Our school did quite the number on that lady's already frail mental state.
