This sub resonates with me. I have always thought to myself that I don't have a problem with myself, but rather I have a problem with the world.

I agree with you, world we're living in, is kind of a fucked up place. We, humans, are just confused little biological machines that live and are 'conciouss' thanks to billions of smaller organisms living in our bodies. We just happened to evolve on this planet, and now we've been trying to make sense of it all from the beginning.

Noone knows what the shit this all is, noone really understands why or how this whole universe and existence has been created, and it seems like noone will never ever understand these things. Pretty much all we know is, we're just a unbeleviably small and meaningless thing on the scale of the whole universe, we just happen to have a very complicated nervous system with our fancy brains and stuff, that allows us to be consciouss of things that our nervous system is capable of processing. Humans are good with communication, we're pretty 'smart', but still, in reality we're nothing more than animals.

The thing why I'm rumbling about all that, is that we all should realize that we all, bad & good, are just animals that in the end have very little saying in what we do and how we feel. There are very few people that are actually doing bad things just out of the joy of doing bad things and causing misery, most people who are doing really fucked up things really believe they are doing the right thing, or atleast dont realize how much misery they are causing. Almost everyone is just trying to make the best of their lives and try to do things that they benefit from.

Most of us cause misery to some extent, for example by buying things that are unethically manufactured. We just choose to ignore it, we refuse to think that our decision really made anyones life worse. We do things that we know are going to hurt our planet and other species, continue littering etc, but we choose to ignore that aswell. Why? Because it's not going to be our problem, atleast not now or anytime soon. Or maybe we just think that "everyone's doing the same thing, me doing it wont cause any extra trouble".

I like to refeer to North Korea in these things, because I think it's the prime example of how fucked up things can get. Imagine what would you do if you with your consciousness was born as kim jong un? You would've been rised to that life, you would have Everything as long as you just kept your familys country up and running, and you would have only one way to run that country. What do you think, would you just keep doing the same shit your family has been doing for ever? Most likely you would.

The thing I'm trying to say here, is that we're all just humans, nothing more. Animals who like to think they are a bit smarter and a bit more conscious of everything than they really are.

Sorry if it's a bit out of topic & kind of messy to read but I come from a non english speaking country so it's sometimes hard to tell my thoughts in english.
