Subtle yearbook quote

Strategy: Jedrick’s strategy for this match is to rely heavily on his speed. He’s gonna dodge and run away to drag out the match. Only coming in close to do 1 or 2 hits then dash away, not gonna try to land combos. He will devote a large majority of his Aura into maintaining Boots of Hermes. He will activate Ares’ Bloody Fists when he gets in close for a quick jab, but won’t maintain the technique so he can keep more Aura in reserve for Boots. On rare occasions when he finds a chance, he will stab with Zeus’ Bolt, either right up close or throw it from 1-2 meters away. If need be, especially if it’s going to be a final blow, Jedrick will create 2 Bolts, one in each hand. The first can be thrown and when the opponent goes to dodge or block, he can shoot out a large burst from Boots to launch and ram the opponent with his other Bolt.

Why he will win: Jedrick and Renzu have many things in common, they are both professional fighters, they both have a Speed stat of 4, they use their Nen Techniques to physically increase their fighting, and they both use techniques to speed up and close in on the opponent. When it comes to a fight Renzu likes to keep it in close quarters because hand to hand combat is his strong suite. Renzu has an ability called Wind Rise, this technique is how Renzu closes in on his opponents. He rides transmuted Aura as a “wind like surfboard”. This means that his speed up technique (as in the actual change in his character’s location) revolves solely around his Aura capabilities while using Wind Rise. The key difference is that Jedrick’s speed up, Boots of Hermes, is based on his Aura capabilities combined with his natural speed when running. This will let Jedrick out speed Renzu at every turn, getting away and staying out of a full on close combat brawl. During the battle Hades’ Fury will be rendered useless since any cover it will provide will be blown away by Renzu’s wind. The most Jedrick will use this technique is once at the beginning, to scout out how Renzu will react. After he figures out the opponent can use wind, he will devote his Aura to other abilities, mainly Boots. This match is all about speed for Jedrick, dodging by thrusting himself with his Aura in whatever direction necessary, and putting distance between himself and Renzu so he can’t pull off his combos. Once he’s at a safe distance he can work his way back in, get off a hit then back off again. Tactically Jedrick will have the upper hand sine he has 1 more point in the Intelligence category. Most of Renzu’s abilities use Transmutaion which is powered by Aura Control, Jedrick’s are Emission also powered through Aura Control, which he has a 4 in while Renzu only has a 3. Age wise Jedrick is in his physical prime at age 24 while Renzu is 9yrs older. Those 2 things are how Jedrick will outlast Renzu, all day long if need be, wearing him down little by little until he finally collapses in defeat.
