I mean moreso, handing over the power that determines moral/ethical actions. This is more than just Parler. I'm also talking about the decision to drop Trump off social media, etc, which should have been done long before the insurrection.

Understand where I'm coming from though, if that does not seem like a good idea on the surface. I'm not taking into account the dysfunctional government we have right now...I'm talking about a functional government that has not handed these responsibilities off to corporations who are largely not accountable to the people they govern. (and yes, the reality we've accepted is that the wealthy and the corporations are essentially pulling the levers that govern us...that is what I'm criticizing, a "forth estate" or unofficial but effective fourth branch of government).
