Suggesting that poor people shouldn't be popping out kids they can't afford isn't classist, it's common sense

Most teens and young adults don't have very good self control when it comes to sexual matters regardless of wealth.

It doesn't take a ton of planning to understand the need to take birth control and ensure you take it the proper time every day. It also doesn't take a ton of planning or self-control to use a condom and there are plenty of kids who do. All it takes is an understanding that a bad decision in those moments can affect the rest of your life, the same decision-making process that helps you when making financial or business decisions.

This is purely anecdotal, but if I look at my friend group and my self. Those of us who are now "successful" all possed a certain level of self-control, even when we're younger. I think we all understood that if we got someone pregnant, it would make pursuing our goals much harder. I think its the same part of your brain that says, I could either go out and party tonight or stay home and focus on this skill or study. Or I can go spend the $100 I have on beer or I can save it to pay rent.
