Suggestion on finding a co-op for my high school course?

Your teacher should provide you with a list of employers that have previously taken on co-op students if you are required to approach employers yourself. Alternatively, you should work through your/your parents personal network.

Taking on a co-op student is not free labor. Co-op students require lots of supervision and training (particularly initially). They also need to regularly evaluate you and work closely with your teacher, following the guidelines to make sure you get credit. It’s a bit of a pain in a regular year and requires a good investment of employee time but with shortened terms and uncertainty about school timing potentially changing, I’d have to imagine there are far fewer employers that would be willing.
