that is why I said I was not trying to be rude I was curious.

This is actually being rude, it's not someone taking something that way, it's actually not being selfaware of where you are asking the question and then not liking it that someone else replied to you on a public forum that was literally made to work that way.

If you want a private question only to the OP we have DMs and that reddit chat feature for that stuff. Then you do not have to deal with those pesky people replying to your "only for op" question. They are also as likely to reply to you there as they would here.
