As someone who loves Jenna Marbles and her content, this is frustrating because I feel like I can see how she’s changed and is overall a kind person now. However, I can also see how it would be frustrating for fans of RBK and Taylor to read this sub the past few days and not become upset that Jenna is essentially getting a pass, while RBK and Taylor are coming under fire for just associating with someone.

To me, yes it seems as Jenna has changed and is remorseful, but she still has a strong association with Shane Dawson, who in my opinion, has made some of the most offensive content in mainstream YouTube. However, both have given apologies along the lines of “I was a different, angrier person back then” and seem to have been forgiven. In my opinion also, this is a very similar statement to Jeffree’s apology, yet his is deemed fake. I’m not taking a side here, but I do see how his behavior doesn’t seem to have changed very much. But as far as apologies go, similar statements were made.

Again, not taking a side, just putting some thoughts out there
