That is an interesting question. I think the first would be to acknowledge your inherent privilege as a valid one, and to understand that POC have not ever had the same set of privileges and never will. You are operating in a world that was built for you while we painfully for most of our time have merely existed in the fringes of it. I see a lot of really toxic people who say things like they don't see race, they don't care if you're purple, or simply invalidate or gaslight POC to make it feel like their issues do not exist.

Second, speak up when it matters. Notice how no one is really talking about this? Because it's a non issue that is taking away from real issues that do need our attention. A lot of BLM movements have been co-opted by white people who either mean well but miss the mark, or more recently are taking advantage of unrest to further their own agendas while blaming it on POC.
