T_D poster thinks he’s redpilling, inadvertly shares how lack of socialized healthcare affects him.....

Single payer is the simplest, but not the most efficient, just look Canada, the UK, or Australia--better than The US system, but inferior to some western euro countries. The best option is a more complicated universal public/private hybrid system--which Obamacare was a step towards--that ensures complete coverage of services and medications for anyone who can't afford them. Switzerland is an example of this, which also had a mandate for all citizens to aquire private health insurance, and subsidizes it for those who can't pay, which generous income caps. Of course it's also necessary to regulate and limit the options for these private companies to exploit customers and deny services. Single payer is too expensive, but the quality of healthcare systems around the world shows us that government plays a very vital role in ensuring healthcare for every citizen.
