Teach your kids to play Magic

Yeah, they hit his car. That was the accident, where they rear ended him. I already said that. Accidents happen, it's part of driving.

I can't believe I'm saying this, as I hate this phrase, but you're victim blaming. It's fucking ridiculous. You're saying that two guys who are doing nothing other than sitting there and filming are at least somewhat responsible for this guys actions.

That alone shows me that you are not an adult. Oh, you may be legally, but mentally, you are not.

If that guy is old enough to drive, he's old enough to be responsible for his own actions. You don't go up to someone's car and beat on the doors and try to smash in the windows and threaten people. There is no excuse for that.

The fact that you're going to sit there and put the blame on someone else is ridiculous. If you're old enough to drive, if you have a license, you're old enough to be responsible for what you do. That's the whole point of waiting until you're 16 to get a license. It's a statement that you are responsible enough to hurtle a 2 ton piece of equipment down the road at 60 miles per hour. So how can you expect someone to be responsible enough to do that but not responsible enough not to have a tantrum in the middle of a road?

There are plenty of people with rage problems that don't act like this. I can't tell you how many times I've been so pissed off that I just wanted to pull out my gun and shoot someone in the face. I can't properly describe how much rage it takes to make me sweat to the point of drenching my shirt while sitting in a 70 degree room, or how much rage it takes to make you feel physically exhausted for an entire day after the rage finally leaves.

Still, despite my anger, I control it. We are human beings, and we are in control of our actions. Excusing someone's actions is the first step in developing a mentality of everything goes.

It is not the responsibility of the people sitting in the car to calm this guy down. Their responsibility is to do what responsible adults do, which is to remain calm, keep their mouths shut, wait for the police, and do not escalate the situation, and that's what they did, at least as far as we can see from the video.

If this guy can't get involved in an accident without freaking out, then he should not be driving.

For that matter, I drive a company vehicle. If I'm involved in an accident, I'm not permitted to exit my vehicle or to say anything to anyone until the police have arrived. I would respond in the exact same way these guys did, which is to ignore the lunatic, video tape him, and wait for the cops. To do anything different would mean to lose my job.

There's a reason that those policies are in place, and that's because it is the responsible thing to do. Attempting to talk to someone in that situation, or to confront someone in that situation, could just set them off even worse.

According to many states that have road rage laws, he was committing a violent felony.

The fact that you think a violent felony is excusable if the offender is being ignored by the victim just blows my mind and says a lot about you.
