I have made some serious errors in judgement while more F'ed up than I thought.

I made the mistake of trying Fentanyl powder about a year and a half ago and needless to say I built a humongous tolerance to it to the point that the dose i was taking would probably kill an elephant. My downfall however was when I started mixing amphetamines and benzos into the mix.

This would result in me getting very little sleep and thinking I felt better and more alert than I was. The real problem was the damn benzos because they can cause retrograde amensia and it can really totally fuck you especially if you are artificially awake via amphetamines.

One time I drove to get groceries at like 8 am after probably being up 40 hours and having taken the above 3 mentioned consistently. Once in the store I was pushing my cart arround but I remember sort of blacking out and laying forward on my cart and going in and out like that a couple of times. Eventually the store manager walked up to me and took me up to the front. She wanted to call the police and somehow that is when I got a little burst of adrenaline and was able to tell her that I was sick and did not sleep at all the previous night. Needless to say I left the store quickly and walked a block or so to a McDonalds and took a cab home.

I had a few other dumb close call incidents like this and mainly all because of f'ing benzos. Alls I can say is if you are doing Opiates be careful taking any benzos with them or at least do it at home and have someone who knows wtf you did otherwise people for sure will be confused why you are sleepwalking arround the house in the middle of the day.
