Tesla is planning a bigger Model S/X refresh than we thought

I think where Porsche will make it happen is first, at the dealership.

Uh...do you treat going to the dealer as a positive experience? Since I sure as hell don't. I prefer carsdirect, no haggling crap.

Agreed (strongly) about porsche fit and finish. I think tesla does a lot of things right, above all else they're actually making a ton of cars, but they're nothing like porsche/audi/bmw at the high end. At the low end I wouldn't say they're dramatically different. A C class mercedes isn't radically different for example than a model 3. I prefer the look of the interior but it's not dramatically better "feeling" in terms of quality of the actual buttons etc.

Rivian isn't close to churning out EVs at scale. The thing that worries me most? They say they have 6 vehicles planned by 2025 - and that's just the models under Rivian. Red flag. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-04-17/amazon-backed-rivian-spurned-gm-with-plans-to-build-for-others

I will be very surprised if they manage to pull this off to be frank (where pull this off is make >10k vehicles next year), but I'd love it if they did.
