The Jonas Brothers, Nick Jonas (& The Administration), Joe Jonas/DNCE

The Disney PimpsTM started their career before becoming a part of Disney Channel, having released their very Christian pop-rock debut album It’s About Time with Columbia Records in 2006. After getting dropped from Columbia Records, the trio signed with Hollywood Records and released their second album Jonas Brothers in 2007. The album had the mildly successful singles “S.O.S.” and “When You Look Me in the Eyes”. The group continued to be mildly successful until the third album A Little Bit Longer (2008). “Burnin’ Up” became their highest charting single to date, peaking at #5 on the Hot 100. “Burnin’ Up” was followed by “A Little Bit Longer” (#11), “Lovebug” (#49), and “Tonight” (#8). 2008 was also the year the group became actors, starring in the Disney Channel film Camp Rock alongside Demi Lovato. In 2009, the group released its fourth album and second #1 album, Lines, Vines, and Trying Times. Like all of the previous albums, the LVaTT got mixed reviews for being too “teenish” and “premature”. The brothers also starred in the Disney Channel show Jonas L.A., in which they also played famous musical brothers.

After the Camp Rock series ended, Jonas L.A. was cancelled, and the singles stopped charting, the group went on a 3-year hiatus. Jick Nonas pulled a Selena Gomez and formed Nick Jonas and the Administration. Nick’s band released an album titled Who I Am in 2010. In 2011, Joe Jonas released his debut album Fastlife under Hollywood Records which, despite having some tunes, was a commercial failure. The album had two singles: “See No More” and “Just in Love”. Please listen to “Just in Love”—it’s the best of all Jonas discography. In 2012, the Jonas Brothers departed with Hollywood Records. Kevin Jonas had a short-lasting reality series Married to Jonas on E! with his wife Danielle. In 2013, the group released two singles “Pom Poms” and “First Time” before deciding to split over creative differences.

In 2014, Nick “Gay-Baiting” Jonas released his second solo album Nick Jonas (the first album Nicholas Jonas was released in 2004). He had the wildly successful “Jealous” (#7) and the mildly successful “Chains” (#13) and “Levels” (#44). Just this year, Nick released his third album Last Year Was Complicated, with the lead single “Close” (featuring Tove Lo) charting at #14 on the Hot 100. Currently, Nick is on the Future Now joint tour with Demi Lovato.

Last year, Joe “27-Second Phone Call” Jonas formed a group named DNCE with Jonas Brothers tourmates JinJoo Lee and Jack Lawless. Cole Whittle, former bandmate with DNCE collaborator Justin Tranter, joined DNCE shortly after. DNCE released the hit “Cake By the Ocean” (#9) from their debut EP SWAAY under Republic Records. The group’s debut album is slated for release this fall.

Since the end of the Jonas Brothers, Kevin “The Irrelevant One” Jonas has been focusing on being a father. He was a guest on some reality shows.
