Theists: why won't God heal amputees?

The issue with this is that if god were to free us from any kind of pain, and kind of suffering, it renders free will pointless. If I were to do something stupid like stick my hand in a blender and nothing bad were to happen, I would continue to do dumber and dumber things until perhaps it turns cruel, and sadistic, but I wont care because there are no consequences.

Now I understand that the vast majority of people who face suffering do not deserve it. But with that said, if God made it so that "good" people were to grow back limbs, or to overcome sickness, and for "bad" people, or people that do things that are rather stupid which caused their predicament, then this would cause resentment among some who may think that their actions, or the actions of others were justified, but did not heal, while others may think that those who did recover were undeserving of it.

For example, lets say that David Cameron were to have his hand cut off in a terrible boating accident, earthquake etc. Meanwhile, Ed Milliband were to lose his hand after running with scissors. On this basis alone, it would seem fair to people that god heals Cameron, and lets Milliband understand that consequences of certain actions. But some may say "Bloody Hell! Cameron is unfair to the poor, and he should have never gotten a new hand to screw over us! And if God is on his side, then God is unjust!" Meanwhile, some people with Tory background may say "Hey!, that ridiculous!, if anything, Milliband deserved to lose both hand if anything! God is great for his judgement!" and as time goes on, people are squabbling about the temporary rather than the eternal, and make it seem as if God is taking sides, when the point of the gospel is to spread truth, not push ideologies, bring down/bring up people and etc. Instead, we all get just judgement in the end, and the wrongs are made right. Now I understand that the British political example was rather Bizarre, but you could apply to everyday people, with bad things happening with good people and so on and so forth. But due to free will, and people having different perspectives on anything and everything, god interceding in these matters will cause more resentment rather than prolonging the peace so to speak
