There is a wrong way to play DND

Because of some incidents in my early years of playing such as sexual assault and just generally being treated poorly, I've made a point to open my table to people in the LGBTQ community so they have a safe space to play.

My current group consists of a Trans male, his partner, an aromantic asexual, three pan/bisexuals, and our two straight ally players.

It's been WILDLY different from my previous games and has been amazing. These are players who genuinely care about the story I've crafted for them, the characters I populate my world with, and each other. Issues get worked out quickly because my players get along and have no fear of messaging me and saying "this is bothering me", whether it's about the game or an issue with another player.
