Thank you for the response. Maybe less confident is poorly said, I think there’s a lack of clarity when it comes to thought distortions versus general fears everyone has, left on your own with the literature or a poor therapist it can be easy to beat yourself up and constantly scrutinize very normal feelings. There is focus in groups working from a CBT framework to sit in the “whys” of an action that made me sort of learn to be on the defense of “justifying” behaviors that were not harmful to myself or anyone with things I didn’t need to share or think about all the time, rather than being present. I had a pretty negative experience with all honestly
