Get a tent!

I randomly picked up a clone at a dispensary several years ago and stumbled upon space buckets a few days later. I went a little nuts only looking into space buckets because they looked like such a fun project. I built a pretty badass one but very quickly realized I wanted and needed much more room. A space bucket is very very limiting and they're honestly far more expensive than they're worth In my opinion, unless stealth is your #1 priority. If growing multiple strains, experimenting with various training methods (scroging, lollipopping, manifolding, etc.), or wanting to keep a clone line are things that interest you at all, you'll want the flexibility of a tent. I haven't used my bucket since the first time I flipped to flower (had to take the lid off and just make a closet grow after the big stretch).

My space bucket probably cost $200 total but I could only grow one plant at a time. I can get up to three plants if I want in my slightly larger closet tent. Also, watering and grooming were a pain in the ass with a bucket. It's easy as pie with a tent.

My first shot at a tent setup cost something like this: Tent: $90 LED + Timer: $225 Exhaust/Scrubber combo: $120 Ducting: $20 Tape/ties/materials: $40

Total: right around $500.
