Twin Flames

A flirtation. A recognition.
A realization. An affirmation.

The conscious mind wonders how this can be Are we fools in love with this possibility?

Rational thought asks if it’s luck versus probability? This question often left unanswered
due to its’ futility.

Was it chance that led
two hearts to embrace? Blessed in this moment, through time and space?

Or inevitably linked together
through infinite dimensions A connection so strong unbreakable from tension.

The truth cannot be denied by words left unspoken This affinity has resulted in two linked spirits awoken.

At first came the feeling of faint remembrance the deja vu
of previous experience.

And with the acknowledgement of this mutual understanding the destiny is revealed by two souls manifesting.

Another lifetime plays out yet the question exists; What is the impact on our next journey
if we remember our purpose?

Is enlightenment reached if our parallel existence now known? Two souls entwined one last time? Finally, Nirvana, our home?

Or do we continue on together coexisting in these planes? Life after life? Through the beauty and the pain?

Are we going to continue losing and finding our mate? Each time a new life experience. Has this been our fate?

Within the warmth of the soul a revelation transpires calming the query
yet fuelling the fires.

We understand now in our hearts when pure knowledge exists that we will continue on our mutual destiny never missed.

Although each lifetime remains distinct from the last I know you are my future, present and past.

And when in this life our flesh connection becomes severed
there is solace in knowing
that it won't be forever

The sorrow we’ll feel of being physically apart may be the heaviest of burdens left on the heart

From the depths of our being a calm understanding will arise this evanescent separation, will be momentary in this life.

And in fact this union remains in our hearts, souls and minds
unbreakable and persistent
through space and through time.

As you fulfill this life’s purpose feelings of loneliness may arise know you are not alone with your twin flame, by your side.

In infinite lives
in an infinite world you are her man and she is your girl.
