Those who dream to be a STHM really don’t know what they have until it’s gone..

Same boat. It's a very lonely existence. My husband has an amazing job and makes great money. His boss is always taking them out to do fun stuff. They usually have sushi lunches on the company yacht and go wake boarding after work. He works for a boat company. My husband also buys all kinds of stuff with his income. The money I'm given has to go towards the kids, groceries, and house necessities. I did have some left over to buy 2 shirts from Ross. It sucks to not have any sort of income to buy stuff I want.

I've been a SAHM for 7 years now. It's so depressing and lonely. I've got no friends, no aquaintences, no real life. I do go to the gym, so there's that. I just feel like a complete loser. My only purpose in life is to raise kids, keep a clean house, and cook. No one warns you of this when you are deciding on having kids. No one tells you the real downside of this life. People need to talk about the cons more and stop painting being a parent as all rainbows and sunshine.
