What a fucked-up take.

Do you know what the money in the bank is? That’s fucking payroll money! That’s operating money for thousands of startup companies that are barely making it. Yes, sure, there are some bigger companies that bank there, too, but they need the money to operate as well. Do you think it’s fair for a small business that has their operating and payroll expenses in the bank to just lose their money?

If you worked at any of those companies or worked for a vendor of one of those companies—the same people who didn’t get their fucking paychecks on Friday—you’d feel a lot different.

Have some empathy. This isn’t a classism thing. And miss me with your bad takes. I’m anti-capitalism but believe that people shouldn’t lose their money because of poor banking decisions beyond their control.
