Those who said “fuck it” one day and quit their job, what was your tipping point, and how positive or negative did the decision pan out?

At a small Italian restaurant, I was waitressing. I walked out midshift because they weren’t giving me tables. They gave all the tables to pull head Sharon who was fucking the owner.

And again at a locally owned bakery. The manager made a sandwich wrong that I rung up correctly. She refused to take responsibility for it- if we messed up it came out of our pockets. Well our machine spits out the exact thing rung up so I showed the owner I was right. The manager had to pay for it and at the end of the day while I was closing the sandwich bar she came over and picked up a knife and stabbed the counter in between us saying “Don’t you EVER tell me I’m wrong in front of anyone ever again. Or else.” Fine bitch, ain’t gonna do shit for you ever then.
