Thought you guys might get a laugh out of this clip from the latest Bill Simmons podcast re: Paul George trade

I have this love hate with The Ringer. I think their podcasts are entertaining and I generally enjoy their columns, but the bias and hate for the Lakers is so prominent.

For example, today they had an article entitled "Our Best Offers for Paul George" where they came up with a couple trade scenarios for Paul George that involved multiple teams. They did mention that the Lakers are his preferred destination, so they were focusing on other teams, but why not throw the Lakers in there. All this talk about the Lakers should trade for him, but I haven't heard any columnist throw out potential realistic trade scenarios for the Lakers. Theoretically the Lakers could still make an offer, so why omit them entirely?

Similarly, there was a column where they discussed the best landing spots for the prospects, and, again, the Lakers were completely omitted. Boo.

Part of the fun of all this is the speculation and analysis, and The Ringer has some of the best writers, but they completely toss the Lakers to the side or throw out terrible biased analysis when you want to hear some genuine unbiased analysis from some smart people.

I'm not saying to turn it all Lakers. I would simply enjoy seeing some Lakers content when it seems appropriate. I've read almost every column (non-NBA related too) this offseason, and probably for the last year, and it sucks to read something good, like those two articles I mentioned, only to find a whole fanbase left out, even though it was completely appropriate for them to be included in the piece, because of some bias.

I get that Bill Simmons is a homer, but I know that going in. I, maybe foolishly, didn't expect their whole site to be mini-me Simmons. I'd like to see some more balance among their columnists. Thank God Larry Wilmore is there to represent.

If I'm missing some unbiased columnist on their staff or somewhere else, then please point me in their direction.
