I was thinking, "Yeah, first sign of bullshit, guy claims to have friends," but then he cleverly jumped in to say, "I do have friends" just in case anyone was thinking he didn't. He totally has friends. They just didn't want to go to see the movie, and neither he nor his friends are smart enough to go to a mutiplex cinema and just see different movies and then meet up again afterward, but I digress.

And then Barbie and Ken, I mean Stacey and Chad, enter the theater and, of course, Stacy cares enough about this guy to look at him and think things about him, because he's that important to her, and she has to share her observations with her boyfriend/husband, who also cares enough about the lone dude to have an opinion and a reaction.

Lone dude then proceeds to eavesdrop, undoubtedly misinterprets a bunch of shit (like, talking about stuff that needs to be done on the weekend is just normal couple conversation), and then he makes up some shit to justify his conclusion that: "they thought I was a loser and a cuck, but really the Chad was the biggest cuck in the theater".

Okay. Sure. That's just what happened. You're a totally reliable narrator, and you're definitely not just making up some shit to make your pathetic life seem less pathetic.
