Regarding Garona, the character really just left me scratching my head. Like, was it casting? Was she bad herself? Was it the writing and she was doing her best with garbage? Was it the director making her garbage? Without actually being on set, we can't be sure exactly who is at fault. Looking at some of the other characters, it's possible that her character just had the highest potential for getting out of whack.

It was a terrible movie but there is nothing wrong with liking it.

This is an excellent thing to point out. I hated the movie and have a ton of gripes about it, and that's ok. Other people enjoyed it, and that's ok. OP can't be "wrong" for liking it.
