Somewhat similar story. When I was 2 or 3 I drank citronella oil infused torch fuel. I probably thought it was juice at the time, and was some how smart enough to open the childproof cap but obviously stupid enough to drink torch fluid. Parents called poison control and did whatever was necessary to make sure I was going to be okay. Not really sure of the exact details because I didn’t even know about this until I was like 14 years old. They got investigated by CPS and had a few random check-ins by them. Eventually they were satisfied by the findings that they were good parents, I was just a dumbass kid.

Also around the same age I pulled the table cloth all the way across the table, from my high chair, to get to a little dish of wasabi sauce that I rubbed in my eyes all in a matter of seconds while my parents were in the other room. I’d have felt so bad if they got in trouble for my idiocy as a child.
