know the basics of how cars work? go invent the car - it doesn't have to be good, it just has to move. after that, you're all set. you could easily outdo the wright brothers with some basic knowledge of flight physics. you know e = mc2? congrats, you just beat out einstein. you know about evolution? go write a book about finches.

even just making a modern-ish bicycle would set you up for life.

all of the basic things you had to study in highschool are things people spent their whole lives trying to come up with. if you've got a few fractions of knowledge from those days you could forever be thought of as a genius.
