Problem is, many minimal survivable incomes in poverty-stricken areas are way above the minimum wage. Even in other less expensive places $7.25 an hour just doesn't cut it (I know that none of California, even the most backwards places, require something like $11 or $12 an hour to make a "survivable" wage). And the cycle of poverty prevents many families from getting higher education to improve their standing.

If more people spent time thinking of ways to help others and make money doing it, CAPITALISM, we all would be better off.
