TIL the reason macrobrew beer companies recommend serving their beers cold is because cold hides their blandness

I actually believe people only like it, because they do not know better and get it shoved down their throats by ads and other people with bad taste

No it's drank it because it's cheaper.

A 30 rack of Budweiser is like 22 bucks. A 6 pack of micro brew Reddit Edgelord IPA is 12 bucks, when I'm having friends over to watch a game which am I going to offer to them? Am I gonna drop 80 dollars on Edgelord IPA that half the people coming won't like, or spend 30 dollars on Budweiser that everyone will be able to tolerate?

When you want a 5 star meal, you go to a 5 star restaurant. When you want a cheap shitty meal to fill you up, you go to McDonalds. Same concept applies to beer. When you want to drink fancy, you buy a 6 pack of local brew. When you're pounding down brews with your buddies for the sake of getting drunk, you buy the cheap shit. I don't understand why this is such a hard concept for the Reddit beer snobs to understand.
