It's time to vent Reddit, why are you pissed off right now?

I'm a Catholic school teacher and really don't make much, but decided to finish my Masters this summer because I would break-even in terms of pay.

My friend was on the same track as me, so after she met with an advisor I signed up for the same classes she did. My online degree audit was confusing because a lot of the required courses for my masters were classes I took as an undergraduate. For this reason, just to be safe, I met with an advisor (the same advisor my friend met with) and asked them to review everything in case there was anything I was missing. I wanted to be absolutely sure I was going to graduate so my work could draft a contract reflecting master's pay for the new school year. The advisor said I was good to go, but if she officially signed off on anything I am not finding documentation of it.

My friend received word she was short 3 credit hours about a week ago. Graduation is Friday. I called the registration office today to inquire about official graduation notification, as there is no ceremony. They told me that when they were reviewing my application they noticed I was short 3 hours and sent an email to the head of my department but hadn't gotten a response yet. I called the department twice with no answer or response. I could have taken an extra class this summer, but now I may not get master's pay at all.

TL;DR An advisor told me I was good to graduate this summer, which would result in a substantial pay increase. I found out today (3 days before graduation) that I am actually not going to be graduating.
