Took myself out to dinner tonight.

She's her mothers daughter, that's for sure. Mom gave her a pep talk on what to say before dad picked her up.

She's also "Daddy's Little Princess"-- IOW he had a hand in creating THIS monster:

He is telling her that he can't afford to buy her a new car or even an old car on what he makes even though he would like to. By the way the dinner she is eating in this restaurant is not cheap. If she orders a hamburger it's about 20.00 not including drink and tip. And we know dad is paying. She goes on to say he is driving a newer car and he should let her have it. He tells her it is all he's got to get around. She tells him he could get something cheaper, he doesn't need that nice a car!

BTW that last... guarantee you that's exactly what he WILL do -- he WILL hand over his "nice car" to her and buy a barely-running POS for himself.

Oh and as an addendum -- within probably 3 to 6 months, a year at most -- "Daddy's Little Princess" will total that "nice car" in some idiotic accident.

Worse, he will be PLEASED about it.

Why? Because he will conclude that it was only the "airbags" in that nice new car that "saved" his precious little Princess ... had she been driving the POS, she'd have been dead, dead, dead.

End result: he will use the insurance money from the "totaled" vehicle to buy her (another) similar "nice new" replacement car.
