people turn to organized crime because "its cool"

one of the things i wish would happen is more oversight of online harassment gangs

you'd be surprised how many people breach their nda's and post personal information of people they've got business or personal relationships with onto online darknets or private websites

it creates conditions of indirect harassment that are hard to stop because all of the information is post privately to the gang website

these people then go on to defame or harass a person indirectly with devastating consequences and little to no recourse for the victim because everything is private

they take public jobs while simultaneously hiding these second lives on the darknet

we need more oversight into online gang activities especially harassment groups because they do so much more damage than bar room gossip, the information isn't fleeting like said words, it's in permanent text

being doxed by people who are targetting you for their own personal reasons is a terrible form of cyberbullying that goes beyond children and the playground, especially in the adult world where it can follow you for years
