Stating that complaints are exaggerated calls the entire report into question. He may be right - and he’d be free to say complaints might be exaggerated. But to do so on that day was just a bad idea. Because it can be directly attributed to the EHRC (as opposed to others).

Suspension works both ways - it protects the party but it also protects Corbyn from further indicting himself.

I can’t point to the specific rule. You and I both know Labour rules are extremely complex. If the above logic is not a rule, it should be!

This is why Starmer (a legal professional) above all else was extremely clear in making it known that he (as leader of the party) “accepted the findings”.
