Trump picks Exxon CEO Tillerson for secretary of State: report

Ahhhh... What lol?

Implying that Russia and OPEC haven't had a price war going on since the 80's... Implying that the US Shale industry hasn't (only recently) entered the price war and kept oil at $50 a barrel... You literally have no idea what you are talking about... It's actually impressive. Like, what you just said made zero sense.

The ruble has devalued in lockstep with oil. Every barrel sold produces the same revenue in rubles. Russia has no reason to cut production because its major oil companies have sharply reduced investment. Russia is competing with the US and OPEC - Why the fuck would then 'foster price cooperation'? By god you're so dumb. This is what happens when you get fed talking points however you're totally incapable of even regurgitating those. You don't even have a basic understanding of economics.

It's what I don't get with you people. You spout this dumb shit like it's a matter of fact opinion or something that will be paramount in the selection of the SoS. Why not look at the other side? Rex Tillerson believes in climate change (although he is unsure whether Humans are the main cause of it), he is pro gay rights, he believes the world should work together to instate a carbon tax and he, after being the hand that has guided one of the world's largest international corporate enterprises, is quite possibly more than qualified to negotiate with foreign states to position America's economy leverage in the best possible light (which, remember, was Trump's main campaign stance).
