Trump speech criticised by Bernie Sanders for 'stirring up fear and hatred'

The speech was largely fluff.

Jobs good, Immigrants bad, MAGA. That's it.

The moment with the widow was a clearly to gain political capital...nice to honor a fallen veteran. But he should have done it days ago instead of blaming other people.

The only really informative part was his list (which was apparently announced before?)... where he's going to track crimes committed by a group of people so he can set policy specific to them. That's scary. If you want to publish all crime statistics and which races, sexes, state residents, ages, tax brackets, etc...then MAYBE ok. You could pass it as just trying to inform the public... when it's just one group... it's targeting and extremely biased.

This sets up a situation where American Born Citizens commit 200,000 crimes in a week and I migrants commit 200. But, since those 200 are being tracked and published by the US government... they become a talking point and rallying cry every week.

You have to see how that's dangerous fear mongering, right? .
