Yeah I’m pretty sure the fiancé of the man who raped me at 14 (he was 24 at the time) made a post about me there once. A friend sent the link to me and said “this sounds just like your story, except from her side”.
Women who stand behind pedophiles and rapists, cause equal harm to the victims of said crimes. They’ll often try and gaslight you, or make you “take back” your own story/experience.
My rapist plead guilty in court for sexual interference of a minor, sentencing hearing was a few days ago… the judge didn’t give him even ONE of the Crown Prosecutors recommended sentencing/conditions. He got off scott-fucking-free….
The judge literally said “I don’t see a need for (insert rapists name) to attend mandatory counselling, nor do I feel it’s necessary in this case for him to be put on the sex offenders list”, then he went off about how this could “negatively impact” (insert rapists name) job prospects in the future.
My job prospects were affected for THE REST OF MY LIFE due to my PTSD (diagnosed) & trauma symptoms. I can’t function the same, and haven’t in over a decade. But yeah, the poor child rapist doesn’t deserve to be affected at work.
He got zero jail time, zero conditions, zero mandatory counselling, zero community service, and we won’t be added to the sex offenders list which means he’s free to move to New Zealand with his fiancé (another reason the judge didn’t want to put him on the list, cause it could affect travel). This was in Canada if it makes any difference.
The judicial system is already stacked against victims, we rarely if ever get justice, even if the person pleads guilty. So I’m happy to see this man is being punished, and seriously- fuck his wife. She clearly has zero protective instinct for her own children, or empathy for the victims that were sexually abused in videos so that sick fucks like her husband get to jack off to innocent children’s pain.
Like FUCK.
Sorry for the novel. I’m mad. I’ve never been so angry. It’s been a tough week. This post brought out the anger even more. Seriously people like this make me want to scream and cry.
