TW:[not tumblr] Shut up you square ass whale face.

I'm drawn to the section “But… but… thinphobia is real!”

No, it’s not. Thinphobia is to fatphobia what misandry is to misogyny.

In that it exists, no matter how much bigots erase it in the name of progress? Okay.

Just as I previously stated, some may have it worse than others, but that doesn’t mean it’s the oppression olympics. This is not a competition.

Says the person erasing some forms of bigotry.

And now for the list:

1) What does being "mentally and emotionally unstable" have to do with being fat?

2) Pretty sure they will be for any size.

3) snort of laughter Oh, it happens on Tumblr.

4) Opinion on what? Besides, someone dismissing what you have to say will use any excuse; they only want to hear that only they're right.

5) Because the role and career demands it.

6) Yep, that mass of twitching muscles is just so common.

7) Pressure may have quite a lot to do with it, but people are capable of making their own lifestyle choices. And again, performing for hours is physically demanding, so being fit helps.

8) How fat do you have to be that clothes are very hard to come by? At that point, you are in serious danger.

9) It's because being overweight is a bad thing.

10) Oh, this old chestnut: bitching about doctors who are actually doing their job by looking out of your health. You can go on and on about every disease being unrelated to your weight, but (a) they probably are related, (b) Either way, being overweight makes your body stressed and weaker, making it harder to deal with infections, and (c) weight is still something doctors have to note.

11) People stare and sneer for anything. You're not special.

12) Because a healthy weight is the result of not being lazy. The aforementioned stress does cause the body to tire out and build up sweat.

13) Stress on the body wears it out faster. And those conditions are easier to get for a weak body.

14) Oh noes! A fringe group of assholes trivializes the assault on you and blame you for it. It happens to anyone. They're not someone to dwell on.
