Twitter is wrong about Alex Jones: facts are not enough to combat conspiracy theories. Jack Dorsey thinks unfettered speech will save the world, but all the evidence says it won’t

What do you do when you don't want anything to do with politics on your front page? I have had to unsubscribe to /r/politics /r/news /r/worldnews and now lately I have been debating to unsubscribe to /r/technology but I have been holding back. I waited on worldnews and news for a while some months back because I liked those subs a lot too but USA politics seriously was leaking into those subs everyday. After Burnie crashed and burned things went south fast.

Back when I joined reddit it didn't matter if politics was on my front page because not everything was so hateful/identity politics bs/gender based/Trump bashing... Not everything was so negative and trying to paint the picture the world is the worst its been.

Now don't get me wrong I do enjoy some politics that don't involve sex/gender/race (not saying these are not important but just not my cup of tea to read about) but I have to be in the mood to be able to critically go through the bs and get to the issues/ideas I find interesting. Seeing a blatantly political propaganda post on my /r/all page just annoys me so much. Articles like OP where they try and tell you how to think on a issue just annoys me.
