I was not commenting on the war I was commenting on the very high chance on soviet style mass repression that Russian have in mind. I am not intending to convince you or anyone about Ukraine and the west being good. What I was saying was that being controlled by russian or by a russian puppet regime will ultimately be worse for Ukrainians. And the rhetoric they use through government media and through figures like Medvedev and Putin is evidence of what will happen to anyone identifying as simply Ukrainian on the territory controlled by Russia. I understand that "West is bad" is a very convincing narrative but its you can't ignore the overtly tyrannical nature of the russian regime.
