Unequal Justice: Will Trump Be Held Accountable for the Blood on his Hands? Establishing the President’s civil or criminal liability will be a tough sell, but not impossible.

No, he is absolutely not doing everything one man can do. No, he didn't even take it seriously when it started. Yes, him and his cronies tried to blame their lack of response on impeachment (despite how many times he was caught playing golf during the start of it.) Yes, him and his cronies were caught on television and audio downplaying the virus the entire time, which is not something "any president" would do. Yes, people knew how quickly all of it would fall apart, because at the same time people were warning him about how quickly it could fall apart, he was still downplaying it and ignoring it.

Why the fuck are you over here calling everyone ELSE stupid? Why the fuck are you not calling HIM stupid? Even today, he's fighting with scientists, playing political and financial ping pong with the WHO, straight up lying about how many tests are going out, asking for political favors in exchange for medical supplies, blaming Obama for "depleting the stockpile" even though that's not true, and even if it WAS true, he had a whole 3 goddamn years to replenish and take care of it himself.

And you really want to defend him? You want to defend all of these actions? You want to call everyone else stupid? Why? Why are we stupid? Because we're daring to criticize a politician? Because we're not treating a politician like an untouchable figure, or a holy figure? Politicians in this country are elected officials, who serve the public. The president works for America and Americans. To protect America and Americans.

And guess what? Politicians deserve criticism when they fuck up. Any of them do, all of them do, whether you hate them or like them, and you should especially criticize them if you like them. Pretending like he did nothing wrong allows him to keep doing it. Refusing to criticize him for fucking up is giving him the signal to continue doing it, especially if there's no repercussions. This is true of every politician. So fuck right off with this "Leave Britney alone!" bullshit.

Fuck off with the "If you were in his shoes, you wouldn't do any better" bullshit. We didn't run for President, he did. He is the one who accepted the responsibility and took the fucking oath, so he is the one who should be held accountable. And he should especially be held accountable for his exact quotes and actions. If they directly contradict your claim of "doing everything he can."

"You couldn't do any better" is the most stupid and simple argument I've ever heard in my life, which is very rich coming from someone who called others stupid and simple. Stop acting like he did nothing wrong, and like he's doing everything he can. It took him and his apostles way too long to do fucking anything serious about it.
